The state of West Bengal is
looking forward to several new investments. With the focus of the current
government being on industrialization, a variety of new initiatives are being
taken. The present chief minister of West Bengal wants the state to prosper at
a commercial level and wants the best of industries. As per the recent
initiatives which have been taken, the business summit in the country of
Singapore stands out as a major one. Business leaders from different parts of
the world participated in the summit and contributed to its success.
Ghanshyam Sarda is one of the most coveted business leaders from
the city of Kolkata. Over the years he has made several investments in the
state and also in other parts of the country. He has almost single handedly
taken the Sarda group to the zenith of success with his useful contributions.
With investments in some of the most diversified sectors like jute, education
and chemicals he has provided a concrete brand image to the company. Over the
years, the Sarda group has established its footprint in several sectors and the
monorail project in the state of West Bengal is in the anvil.
In the business summit which took
place in the country of Singapore, the members from the Ghanshyam Sarda Kolkata group participated. Scomi Engineering one
of the market leaders from the global monorail sector has expressed its
interest to be the key investor for the project.
The total investment for the
project stands at 2,500 crores and the Sarda group is quite keen to be a part
of it. Scomi Engineering has already
completed monorail projects in some of the busy cities like Sao Paolo,
Kualalampur and Mumbai. The Mumbai monorail project has been a huge hit and a
similar approach has been taken for Kolkata. The youth of the state are looking
forward to new employment opportunities as a part of the project.
